All the staff at VRC was very kind and professional. Dave, Kermit, Amanda, Tony, Abby & Paul really helped me. The only thing I would change is having more clients in my age group to relate to and bringing in H&I meetings more frequently at night because there was a bit too much downtime in the evenings.”

My name is Derek and I attended VRC, in my experience, they were incredibly crucial on my path to recovery. The facility was so nice and the employees really cared about the clients. Anyone seeking help with an addiction should strongly consider this program.

I’m so grateful for VRC and all the staff here. When I first came here I was such a mess and very scared to start this journey once again, but everyone here made me feel so welcomed and safe. I knew I was in the right place. I have been to 3 other facilities (rehabs) in the past and VRC is by far the best I’ve ever experienced because everyone genuinely cares about how you’re doing from moment to moment. It’s a beautiful facility and individual care is outstanding. It doesn’t look or feel like a rehab (institution), but more like a place of peace and harmony. I feel that I was very fortunate to have attended VRC for treatment. There were many options around the area and I’m glad that Google helped me find this place. I was treated with courtesy and respect. The treatment care was outstanding. I was treated with dignity and respect and the place was very clean and had comfortable accommodations, even a pool. The nurses, techs, and therapists were nothing short of amazing. VRC was able to provide me with everything I needed during my stay and every level of treatment necessary. My stay here was an emotional and spiritual awakening. I admire the staff here especially Rachel, Tess, Janet & Morgan. I admit that there was some speed bump along the road with not prescribing me my Vyvanse that I’ve been on before. I acknowledge Dave & Kermit for helping me out. I feel blessed and willing to say that I thank everyone for everything and to make sure that I’d be getting back home safe as well with an aftercare plan. I had a lot of productive fun as well as appreciation towards the seriousness of constructive life skills I needed and learned here!!! Everyone was amazing”

For those of you who aren’t so sure if this is the place to “start your journey” I can tell you it’s a nice clean place that feels safe, the staff is great and the beds are comfortable. The setting is beautiful as well but that’s not what stood out or mattered for me the most, what did is that all the staff seem to genuinely care here. Pushing you towards your own success, they can’t force you of course but they fight to help keep you fighting this nightmare of addiction.

My stay at VRC was everything I expected it to be. For it was my last option of HOPE. The staff did all they could and then some to make sure that my stay here was as comfortable as possible. I wish I could stay but now I have to use the wings that VRC has helped me to grow and fly solo on my path of sobriety. I recommend them to anyone in need of help. Overall my stay here was very good. The staff was very friendly and nice. For me now it’s all about getting comfortable being uncomfortable. I’ve tried treatment before but this was my “realest” experience being cared for by others who understand where I’m coming from. Thank you, VRC for helping me get my life back!”

I honestly can’t even put into words the gratitude I have for VRC and all the staff there. I came here as a scared little girl extremely broken just looking to “clean up”. Not only did the nursing staff help me comfortably manage my meds, but I also received 1 on 1 and group therapy sessions from some of the most caring clinicians I have ever met, especially Amanda. Never once did I feel that the staff was not completely genuine in wanting to help me find my way in recovery.

Out of all my experiences with rehab programs, VRC has risen above all. The facility is extremely accommodating and comfortable. The idea that clients are treated like extended family by some of the best substance abuse professionals is extremely helpful for those seeking help and comfort. During my stay here everyone was warm, caring, helpful but most of all professional.

While at VRC I had the luxury of small intimate groups and lots of one on one sessions whenever I needed. I felt like they weren’t trying to fit a square peg in a round hole and that they took the time to listen to any of my concerns and address them as they could. All of my conversations with their staff leading up to my admission made me feel like I was making the right choice for me and now as I’m discharging I feel like I benefited from the help I received and am leaving as a completely different person.

My stay here was interesting, educational and eye-opening, I haven’t ever had that “aha!” light bulb moment about my drinking, since coming here I’ve had quite a few light bulbs moments. I have to give thanks to Amanda, Matt, Adriana, Janet & Kermit for helping me find my way.

The staff at VRC are amazing, they are caring, loving and giving individuals. While here I learned how to let go of old behavior, my ego and trying to control everything. They taught me to trust in the process that is my recovery. I know that I’m the only one who can truly help myself, I plan to use the tools I was given, to follow the plan and manifest my goals into reality. I am truly grateful; for everyone at VRC. I’ll be back for Alumni participation for sure, thank you again!

First, I would like to thank the staff and administrators at VRC, my time at VRC has allowed me to recover some semblance of my true self back. They’ve taught me many things like that I need to be present, patient & accountable. I’ve learned to slow things down and be comfortable to some degree with just sitting, reflecting and being ok with my thoughts and in my own skin.
